I am an emerging writer, born and bred in Breaux Bridge, LA honoring the Creole culture. My writings feature strong women of color who are influential in their families and communities. I have traveled extensively serving as a missionary in Johannesburg, South Africa and Southern Africa. I can tell you for a certainty there is no place like home and there is nothing a prayer, a little crawfish etouffee and seafood gumbo can’t fix. My passion for gardening and writing keeps my creative spirit sharp. I received my bachelor’s degree from UL in 1985 and was privileged to be in the 1990 Leadership Lafayette program.
