My name is Violana, LOVE Painting Porcelain. As a native of Tirana, Albania I grew up in a time of major change of political systems in the country, and women's rights for equality in Albanian society becoming one of its main challenges. Throughout my education in Albania, I have actively participated in the major fine art & graphic design in national and international arenas. My artwork with the complexities of social life in Albania was honored with many awards for outstanding achievements. In 2003, I won the First Price in the national creativity contest organized at the National Gallery of Arts in Tirana. My art project illustration book “Finding Grandma’s Garden” was shown at Tate Britain in London 2007 as part of the international contemporary art project “Imagine Art After” and featured at “The Guardian”. It might seem strange that I get excited thinking about historical characters are part of each society's cultural heritage, but my passion for folklore elements aspects play a great role in remaining strong throughout my career. This is my way to make our lives brighter, And I hope that my works will bring a lot of positive energy and happiness into your lives!
