I am a visual artist residing in Windsor, Connecticut. I have always taken art classes throughout school, including classes at the University of Hartford in 2020. I now work as an art teacher/art therapist for adults with disabilities and it has given me a whole new outlook on art. My students prove everyday that art has no limits and everyone can and should express themselves in their own beautiful way. Nature has always been my biggest inspiration, and it has been fueled even more by the beautiful places I've traveled to, like Jamaica and Costa Rica. Experiences far away and as close as my backyard have pushed for a deeper understanding of the nature of the world around me but also within me. When making art, I use mediums like acrylic paint, oil pastels, and water color, along with a variety of materials including gold leaf. My work is a meditative experience for myself and I hope the same can be true for my viewers as well.
