Our music is heavy on improvisation and inspired by Cumbia rhythms and modern jazz. Melo Fuentes, front man and composer, came all the way from Spain in 2018 to bring a new flavor of music to New Orleans. Agua de Valencia plays around Frenchmen St every week and is formed by Melo Fuentes (singer/songwriter, trumpet), Jake Gartenstein and Marcello Benetti (drums), Sam Kohler (bass), and Jamie Koffler (keyboard).
