Alex Ranniello is a Connecticut based painter with a focus in portraiture & figure painting. His work captures the highest moments of summertime in a way that reflects the human spirit through robust color palettes, gestural whimsical brushstrokes, and luscious warm scenery. Many of his influences derive from icons of 20th century West Coast painting. In addition to murals, Alex is a studio artist, arts program administrator, and assistant gallery manager who has served as a workshop instructor, curator, visiting artist, event manager, and juror devoted to advocacy for the arts in Connecticut.
